Day 1 : Saturday Morning: Bangalore Depart
Report At Bangalore-Yashwantpura Railway Station by 0830 hrs in the Morning. After Traditional Welcome & Check In Formalities, Guests are Escorted to respective cabins & Golden Chariot Train soon departs. Brunch served On-board. |
Day 1: Saturday Afternoon: Jungle Excursion
Deboard at Nanjangud Town Railway Station at 1430 Hrs. For Safari in Bandipur Tiger Reserve, home Tigers, Leopards, Elephants & number of other mammals & birds .. Return to Railway Station by 2015 hrs for late Dinner & Train Departs . Overnight Train stabled at Mysore, Railway Station. |
Day 2: Sunday Morning : Mysore
After Breakfast ,visit late 19th Century rebuilt Amba Vilas Palace, Former Residence of Wadiyar Dynasty ,whose construction was supervised by a British Architect .View the Durbar Hall Wing & Private Art Gallery Of Former Royalty.. Return to Golden Chariot Train for Lunch. |
Day 2 : Sunday Afternoon : Optional Excursion
Afternoon Option to Either Relax Back in comforts of The Train OR Proceed for excursion to 18th Century built Srirangapatnam Fort, Located On a river bank-Which witnessed many a skirmishes between Popular King Tipu sultan & British Colonial rulers. After Visiting Dariya Daulat & Tipu Mausoleum drive back to Mysore & board the Train. Dinner Onboard.& train departs. |
Day 3: Monday Morning : Halebidu
After Breakfast ,from Banavar Railway Station -Proceed for Excursion to 12th Century Built Hoysaleswara Temple Complex in Halebidu ,which are an architectural marvel & renowned for their intricate carvings which portray the golden age of Hoysala rule. Every sculpture is different from the other & the granular details of the postures are amazing. Drive Back to Railway Station For Luynch & Train Soon departs. |
Day 3: Monday Afternoon : Coffee Plantation Visit
Deboard at Kadur Railway Station at 1500 hrs. & proceed for Excursion to Coffee Plantations in Chikmagalur, followed by Coffee tasting ,Cultural Program & Dinner .Return to train by 2200 hrs & it soon departs. |
Day 4: Tuesday : HAMPI
After Breakfast , Proceed From Hospet Railway station to discover Charms of UNESCO World Heritage Site of 15th Century Built Hampi Palace Ruins , Capital of Mighty Vijayanagara Empire . It is said that ,at its zenith , ,Vijaynagara Empire was More Powerful & Wealthier than Mighty Mughal Empire in North India. |
Day 5: Wednesday Morning: Old Goa Churches
After Breakfast ,proceed from Karmali Railway Station to Visit UNESCO World Heritage of 16th Century Built Portuguese Churches .Return to Train by Noon & Train Departs. Lunch Onboard |
Day 5 ;.Wednesday Evening : Goa Beaches
Late Afternoon Deboard at Madgaon Railway Station & proceed for for Gala Dinner at Beach Resort Hotel .Return to Railway Station by 2230 hrs & Train Departs. |
Day 6: Thursday Morning : Bangalore Return
Breakfast Onboard & Check-Out on Arrival at Bangalore Yashwantpura Railway Station. |
