TRAIN TOUR COST Includes :Overnight Stay & travel onboard train in Exclusive AC sleeping chambers with private attached bathrooms ; Bed Tea/Coffee Service; Daily Three Meals; Packaged Drinking Water; Group Sightseeing tours in AC Buses with English speaking Guides; Complimentary use of onboard gymnasium ; Entrance fees at monuments & Wild Life Parks; House Pouring Brands of Alcoholic & Non Alcoholic beverages.
EXTRA Train Tour COST (not included)
Use of Spa Facility ; Optional Journeys ; Consumption of PREMIUM Brands of Alcoholic & Non Alcoholic beverages; Laundry; Tips & Gratuity ; Tour Insurance and all other expenses of personal nature.
BOOKING PROCEDURE :
- Journey Details: Please advise your desired date of journey and the number of cabins required.
- Passenger Information: To process your booking, we require passport copies of all passengers.
- Advance Deposit: Booking will be confirmed upon receipt of a 25% non-refundable advance deposit of the published ticket value (inclusive of all taxes).
- Payment Methods: Payment can be made via online credit card authorization or SWIFT bank wire transfer.
- Balance Payment & Form:The remaining balance payment, along with the completed Train Reservation Form, must reach us at least 65 days prior to the train's departure date.
- Late Bookings:For booking requests made less than 65 days before the train's departure, a full (100%) one-time deposit is required for confirmation.
- E-Ticket & Document Kit:Your E-Ticket and comprehensive Document Kit will be forwarded upon completion of all booking formalities.
- Optional Sightseeing:Please note that some sightseeing tours are optional and can be booked and paid for separately onboard the train.
CANCELLATION RULES :
The Golden Chariot Train is operated by IRCTC (Commercial Wing of Indian Railways). Royal Indian Trains acts solely as a booking agent, and our liability is limited accordingly.
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by us.
- Requests for changes in passenger names or journey dates are subject to these cancellation rules.
- Cancellation Charges (on Published Ticket Value, inclusive of Taxes):
a). More than 63 days before departure: Minimum 20% cancellation fee.
b). Between 62 days and 47 days prior to departure: Minimum 40% cancellation fee.
c). Less than 47 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee (NO REFUND).
- No-Show/Failure to Board: Failure to board the train for any reason will result in no refund.
- Medical Emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency, clients must forward all relevant documentation. The Train Tour Operator's (IRCTC) decision regarding any potential refund will be final.
- Changes to Sightseeing: The Train Tour Operator (IRCTC) reserves the right to amend scheduled sightseeing tours at short notice.
- Early Disembarkation: No refunds will be provided if a client chooses to disembark the train earlier for any reason.
- Journey Cancellation by Operator: If the Train Tour Operator (IRCTC) cancels a scheduled journey, a full refund will be provided.
- Overseas Refund Bank Fee: Royal Indian Trains reserves the right to charge a US$ 100 bank processing fee for overseas refunds.
Important Information:
1.Visa Requirement: All foreign passport holders are required to obtain an Indian Visa prior to commencing their journey from their home country.
2.Travel Insurance: It is strongly advised to pre-purchase comprehensive tour/travel insurance from your country of residence.
3.Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts located in NCR - Gurugram (India) only.
