The Golden Chariot Train Tour operates on Three Different Circuits of South India - all departing from Bangalore to Bangalore

First Launched in 2007, The Train has recently been renovated & upgraded and will restarts Operations from 1st Week of Jan 2021.
The Luxury Train offers Eleven Passengers Saloons, Two Dining Cars, One Bar Lounge & One Saloon With Mini Gym & Spa. Plus Onboard Kitchen Saloon.
The Saloons have been Named after Various Dynasties that have ruled South India ,over centuries.
The entire train is centrally air-conditioned & Hence Smoking is Not allowed aboard the Train.
Paramedic Facility is also available & Tour Director supervises the daily sightseeing tours.

» Passenger Saloons :
Each Saloon offers Four Richly Furnished Sleeper Cabins with Private Attached Bathrooms having 5 Star Hotel Level Toiletries.
There is only One Category of Cabin (Viz Deluxe Cabin) on the train, all with standard features.
Guests have choice to book Cabins with Either Single Large Bed (viz Double Bedded) Or Two Separate Beds(viz Twin Bedded )
Maximum Two Adults plus One Child < 12 years ,can book for Double Bedded Cabin.
There are 13 Double Bedded & 30 Twin Bedded Cabins PLUS One Cabin for physically challenged person.
Maximum Capacity of Train is 85 Passengers in 44 Sleeper Cabins.

In Each Deluxe Cabin , there is facility of Electronic Safe, Small Wardrobe, LCD TV Screen Plus Valet Facility is available Round The Clock. There are Electric Sockets available both in Cabins & in Bathrooms with 220 AC Electronic Supply. It is suggested to carry your own Adaptors if having Sensitive Electronic Equipment used to DC Current

» Restaurant Coaches :
The interiors of the Two Dining Cars (called Nala & Ruchi) are inspired by the royal aesthetics of Hampi & Halebid temples.
There is a wide spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian culinary delights available.


» Lounge Bar Coach :
The plush & royal interiors of the Cigar Bar Lounge (called Madira) are modelled after the early 20th century Mysore Palace.



» Spa & Gym Facility :
There are Two massage rooms ,for the traditional & age old Ayurvedic massages,said to offer definite cures for modern day fatigue & stress.
Also available is a fully equipped Gymnasium.
